Established in 1997, NMEBC is the first and only of its kind to bring members of the environmental community together to advance and protect the environment in a financially sustainable way. Private investment and public/private alliances are leading the way towards improving the environment and streamlining permit approvals for important infrastructure projects. This conference is a “must attend” for those involved in this industry, drawing attendees who are key decision makers and leaders from business, government (local, state and federal), nonprofits, and universities — further broken down by regulators, users/buyers of credits, bankers, investors, suppliers, attorneys, engineers, real estate developers, planners, consultants, landowners and interested observers. “Carlene is one of the most well-known and well-respected leaders of the Mitigation Industry” said Adam, of Carlene Bahler the President of JT&A which produces the NMEBC annual conference. Adam goes on to say that, “She [Carlene] and her conference have been a major catalyst for the improvements and sweeping changes we have seen in our industry over the past two decades. It’s an absolute honor to present at her [JT&A] conference, especially about something I am so passionate about. Given the political changes in our country the past few years, this opportunity provides the chance to really dig in and see how policy, process and change have shaped our industry”.
